We go to RAF Cosford and Turnhill to train our cadets to fly small training aircrafts which is the Grob tutor. Initially you will fly the aircraft with an instructor, during this time you will learn the basic controls of the air craft and familiarise yourself with the controls and instruments. Flying scholarships can be taken once you are 17 and passed the senior classification, you may apply at 16 and a half years old. There are 2 types of scholarships, AEF and Pilot Scheme. Both consist of 12 hrs flying with the Pilot Scheme culminating in going solo.

To start flying you must be 13 and have passed basic familiarisation training to fly the Grob Tutor which is the aircraft that you fly in the ATC.
